Cockburn Cement employs quality accredited transport companies for the task of distributing its products throughout the state. Operating the largest fleet of road pressure tankers our transport companies are quality accredited and committed to the efficient and timely distribution of Cockburn’s products.
Our transport companies have ‘Customer Focused’ key performance measurements. These include but are not limited to the following minimum requirements:

A ridged trailer combination, capable of 42 tonne payloads
Quicklime Distribution
Cockburn’s quicklime is available for purchase in bulk
form only. Specialised Bulk Pneumatic Tankers are used as the normal mode of
delivery for this powdered product.
Industrial Hydrated Lime
Industrial Hydrated Lime (in powder form) can be delivered to
customer’s sites in bulk pneumatic tankers or it can be packaged into
one tonne bulker bags.
Milk of Lime (MOL)
Milk of lime is Industrial Hydrated Lime mixed with water. When
mixed it forms a slurry that can be pumped directly into the customers process
from a specially designed tanker.
Lime Kiln Dust
Lime Kiln Dust has similar handling characteristics to quicklime,
only it is much finer and must be transported in bulk pneumatic tankers.
Cement
Cockburn’s Cement products are available for purchase
in bulk. Specialised Bulk Pneumatic Tankers are used as the normal mode of delivery
for this powdered product. Deliveries can be made in 24t – 80t deliveries.
Cockburn’s Cement products are also available for purchase in bulker bags. Bulker bag sizes include 500kg / 750 kg and 1 tonne.

Inventory Management
Cockburn Cement operates a Customer Service & Distribution Centre at its
Munster and West Kalgoorlie Operations. The role of these centres is to monitor
and liaise with customer sites to ensure that stocks are maintained at suitable
levels at all times.
Customer Service Staff contact customer sites on a daily basis for updated silo stock status. This can be achieved by telephone, facsimile, email or direct telemetry link (if available). The responsibility of the Customer Service Officer is to ensure that silo stocks are maintained at agreed inventory levels.
