Do It Yourself

Plaster is coating a surface with a cement render or plaster finish on an internal or external wall. Plaster is for decoration and protection of every building.

The role of external plaster is not only to primarily protect the covering structures of the building against the impacts of the external environment (rain, wind, sunshine), but also to provide thermal and sound protection of interior areas.

We have several products that can be used for plastering/rendering.

Our Grey Wall Renders include:

Plasterers Dark
Plasterers Dark is specifically designed for both internal float and external sand finish renders. It is a controlled blend of Cockburn General Purpose Grey Cement and Hylime that produces consistent colour and appropriate strength.

If will provide greater control in mixing than batched separate materials.

Cockburn General Purpose Grey Cement
When mixed with Hylime and sand in the desired proportions will give you a grey render, similar to that produced with Plasterers Dark.

For light colour renders our products include:

Cockburn Crème
Internal or external walls finished in a light cream colour are achieved by using Cockburn Crème, Hylime and plasterers sand. Most cream finishes are achieved by using this product.

Brickies Lite
Although the name implies for mortars only, this pre-blended light cement is also ideal for some internal and external render applications.
